Not far from Helendale, California off of Route 66 is this odd little roadside attraction called Elmer’s Bottle Tree Ranch. It’s free to the public, so feel free to pull over and take a walk around the place. There are dozens and dozens of poles erected with bottles attached to them, old typewriters and cash registers strewn about, a beat up Jeep you can sit in if you’d like, and street signs from all over the place. It felt like something straight out of Fallout New Vegas.
